Grażyna
Kilanowicz-Barecka
Born in 1955 in Warsaw.
Graduated from Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts,
specialising in conservation of easel and
wall paintings and polychromed scuplture.
After her studies she made copies and pastiches of Dutch paintings.
From the eighties
she has been pursuing her own artistic career.
She has painted portraits and fantastic pictures
presenting her paintings at two
individual exhibitions.
She recived an award on the II Exhibition of Warsaw Artists'
Paintings and Graphic Arts.
She has been painting abstract pictures and writing poetry since 1996.
In 1999, at the Anna and Jarosław Iwaszkiewicz Museum in Stawisko, her third individual
exibition was organised. At the time she published a selection of her poems
"Wtorek od piątku".
