Strent
Born in Luck in 1943 - Volhinia/East Poland.
He studied at the Painting Faculty in the Warsaw Academy of Fine Art -
professor Andrzej Kobzdej (painting) and Halina Chrostowska (engraving).
Graduated in 1972. Since that time employed as a tutor, now as a professor
at the Graphic Departement and a dean in years 1990-1996.
Printer, printmaker and draughtsman.
There were more than 40 one-man shows; moreover he has taken part in about
300 exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
Prizewinner of numerous distinctions, among of them in the International Competition
of Paintings Musee 2000 (Luxemburg, 1971), International Grand Prix
of the Contemporary Arts (Monte Carlo,1979).
His works are in public and private collections in Poland and abroad.
